For players to become more aware of the flags of Asia.
Contents
48 Flag cards
4 Player’s Code Sheets
What you will need to supply
2 Dice
8 Markers for the Code Sheets (optional)
In this game a turn comprises of 2 throws of 2 dice.
Preparing for Play
Spread the cards out on the centre of the table.
Playing the Game:
First player rolls both dice together.
On throw one – e.g., if a 2 and 3 are rolled, the dice value is 5 (2 + 3 = 5).
The matching colour for 5 on the Code Sheet is red.
On throw two – e.g., 4 and 3 are rolled, the dice value is 7 (4 + 3 = 7). The
matching colour for 7 on the Code Sheet is black.
A player with the numbers 5 and 7 rolled, then must choose a flag with the
matching colours (red) and (black)
The player then selects a flag with those 2 colours.
Play continues in this way in a clockwise direction.
The game is completed when all the flag cards are taken from the centre of
the table.
Situations
If a player rolls a 4 or a 10 on either roll, he may choose any colour, and that
being one of his two colours.
If a player rolls a total of a 4 or a 10 on both rolls, he may choose any flag.
If there is no colour e.g., (black) on any of the flags remaining in the centre
of the table, then a player cannot choose a flag, as a player needs two
colours to earn the right to choose a flag.
It does not matter how small the colour is on the flag, it is still counted as
the colour.
The white margin around the flag is not included as a flag colour.
To help players remember what colour was rolled, the Code Sheet has an
outline for a token, buttons, coins etc. to be placed.
Finishing the Game
The game is finished when all the cards are taken from the centre of the
table.
The winner is the player with the most flags collected.
